Ikea food section is divided into 3 parts; a dine-in restaurant where we first collect our choice of yummy delicacies on display in our trollies and then pay in the check out counter. Their breakfast menu is splendid with sausages, hash browns, eggs etc and is available only in the morning. The Swedish meatballs are our favorite accompanied by a side of your choice such as mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables or rice. They have unlimited refill on drinks. Children can enjoy their time in this small play area while we grown-ups sip that extra cup of coffee.
Cafe and bakery can be accessed directly from the mall. Yummy fast food treats are lined up in here including croissants for just 2 Dhs, Ice creams for 1 Dhs, hotdog sandwiches, Shawarma being the crowd pullers. The Swedish food market has many must have delicacies. There are new screens where we can also self order to have really quick bite.
There’s a larger play zone for kids which is free. Little one’s can play their heart out for an hour while we get the chance to have some shopping therapy. Don’t forget to make sure your kids fall in the height category of 95cm – 130cm, before you wait in the queue to the play area. The entry is given only after they double check the kids heights as they follow the rules very strictly.
